Review: Vegas Baby Vodka

Review: Vegas Baby Vodka

No, it’s not a baby vodka from Las Vegas, silly. It’s Vegas Baby Vodka! Like, you know: Vegas, Baby!!!

Moving on.

This product is produced by Las Vegans Jennifer Higgins and Megan Wilkes, designed with a particular destination in mind: The hordes of drunken, Strip-wandering gamblers looking for a little hooch. It’s a distillate of non-GMO corn made in Montana, not Nevada, column distilled and well filtered before bottling.

Results? Unsurprising, really.

There’s a slight sweetness on the nose, hinting at marshmallow and vanilla character, with a hint of grassiness to it. The palate is clean and again just a bit sweet, with straightforward notes of white sugar and a touch of marzipan. The finish is equally innocuous, though some of the earthy charcoal filtration starts to peek through here, culminating in a slight nutty character that otherwise recalls sugar cookie dough.

I’d have no trouble drinking this in a free blackjack table martini.

80 proof.
